Massimiliano Panarari is a lecturer on campaigning and organising consensus at the “Guido Carli” Luiss University in Rome and on political marketing at the Luiss School of Government. He also teaches history of journalism at the “Luigi Bocconi” University in Milan. His sphere of research spans between sociology of communication and cultural processes, political communication and political theory, the mass media and popular culture. He is a columnist of the national newspaper La Stampa, Il Piccolo, the Veneto Finegil newspapers, and D di Repubblica. He also collaborates with L’Espresso and Il Venerdì di Repubblica. He is the author of books such as “Poteri e informazione” (Le Monnier, 2017) and “L’egemonia sottoculturale” (Einaudi, 2010), and he is co-author of “Elogio delle minoranze” (with F. Motta, Marsilio, 2012). He is a member of the scientific panel of the «Festival della tv e dei nuovi media» of Dogliani, and he was chairman of the institute Istituto Parri Emilia-Romagna (2017- January 2018).
