Associate professor of human and social sciences at the Scuola Normale Superiore (SNS) in Florence. In April 2017 she graduated as an ordinary professor in Political Science and Political Sociology. He participated in several international comparative research projects and coordinated research units for individual projects and scholarships. She published, among others, the following magazines: Mobilization, Acta Politica, European Union Politics, South European Society and Politics, RISP and for the following publishing houses: Oxford University press, Ashgate, Palgrave.

Research interests: europeanisation and social movements, right-wing extremism and populism in Europe and the USA, political mobilization and internet, qualitative methods of social research (including formalized content analysis, frame analysis, interviews, analysis of social networks), political violence and terrorism.
