Maurizio Cotta is a professor of political science at the University of Siena where he manages the Research Centre on Political Changes (CIRCaP) and the PhD on Political Science, European Studies and International Relations. Over the years he has been a visiting professor in many international universities such as Yale, Harvard, the Fudan University in Shangai, the University of Texas in Austin, the European University Institute in Fiesole, and the Central European University in Budapest. His most recent publications include: “Democratic Representation in Europe” (Oxford University Press 2007), “Il Sistema politico italiano” (Il Mulino 2011), “Il governo” (Il Mulino 2015) and “Un’altra Europa è possibile” (il Mulino 2017).
